Shipping Policy

America Auto Parts Llc offers two excellent options for your online purchases: you can buy online and pick up your order in store or your order can be shipped to the address of your choice.

Buy online, pick it up in-store

At, you can check the availability of any item at a nearby store and purchase it online. Then, you just need to stop by the store to pick up your order.


Find a store near you

Select the item(s) you wish to purchase To pick up your items at the store choose the "Pick up in Store" option Add the item(s) to your shopping cart Review your order and complete your purchase You will receive a confirmation email (this is not a receipt; this does not mean your order is ready for pick up; this email is just to inform you that we are processing your order)

Later, you will receive a second email, this will inform you that your order is ready to be picked up; the time to have your order ready may vary, please wait until you have received this second email to go pick up your order.

Please bring a valid photo ID, such as your driver's license, to the store.

When you arrive to pick up your order, wait in your vehicle, call the store and a team member will come out to deliver your order.

Only items available in-store qualify for the buy online and pick up in-store option. Warehouse items do not qualify for the buy online and pick up in store option.

Your order will be held for three days. After the expiration of this period your order may be cancelled and refunded.

Important Note

If the cardholder is unable to personally pick up the order (such as an order being placed for a family member to pick up at a store in another state), at the time of payment you must designate a person to pick up the order.

What should I do if I receive a payment processing error?


Failed Authorizations and Declined Payments


You may need to contact your financial institution for assistance with declined payment transactions. If you are unable to resolve the problem with a declined payment in a timely manner, you may be able to use an alternative payment method to pay for your order.


Common reasons for failed payment authorizations:

The billing address provided does not match the address your financial institution has on record for your account.

The CID/CVV security code is incorrect and does not match the credit card number you have provided.

All lines of communication with your financial institution may be temporarily busy.

You have reached your daily purchase or cash withdrawal limit.

Insufficient funds.

Note: Some financial institutions may hold these authorizations for 7-10 business days.


Why does my order say "Error. There was a problem processing your payment. Please try again"?


At the time an order is placed, our system first verifies that funds are available and then validates the credit card information used. If the information entered does not match the information that the credit card bank stores, our security system will reject the order and refund the amount to the account. Verified funds will be pre-authorized "Pre-Auth" to your account. Your bank/credit card will generally release the funds back to your account the same day. The outstanding dollar will be returned to your account usually within a couple of days. Unfortunately, we do not have access to the reasons why the credit card information does not match.


When placing an order be sure to enter the following information correctly on the "Checkout" payment page:


Credit or debit card number.

The expiration date of the card.

The CID number.

The exact name and billing address as it appears on your credit card statement.

If there are errors in the data entered the order will be rejected.

Why is my phone number needed during the payment process?


America Auto Parts Llc uses your phone number as a reference for all warranties. Your phone number used during the payment process will not be disclosed to any third party. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

Why am I likely to pay more, or less, at my local store than the total amount of the online payment?


Because actual prices and sales tax costs vary slightly from location to location and because of local offers and discounts, your final payment total when you make a purchase online may not be the same as what you would pay if you made the purchase at your local store. Rest assured that we are doing our best to be as accurate as possible. However, when shopping at one of our stores, you will be required to pay the determined price at the time of payment.

Can I pay by check and can I order COD items?'s online store only accepts major credit cards and America Auto Parts Llc gift cards as forms of payment. Any of our 5420 stores will gladly accept cash and checks as payment.

Why am I being charged sales tax?

America Auto Parts Llc is required to collect sales tax in all states where we have a physical presence. We are also required to calculate your taxes based on the destination of your order. As a result, if we have a physical presence in the state to which we are shipping your order, we are required by law to collect all applicable state and local taxes.

When must I place my order to be eligible for Next Day Delivery?

For your convenience, the remaining time you have left for the product to be eligible for next day delivery is displayed on the side of the product. Next Day Delivery eligibility is based on daily order cutoff time, which varies by location, product and availability. Eligibility and final estimated delivery date are calculated in the shipping options section during checkout.

How do I qualify for free Next Day Delivery?

Most orders totaling $35 or more (excluding hull charges) qualify for free shipping or free next day delivery to eligible addresses. Cost and next day delivery eligibility may be affected by ordering special items or if the total due is less than $35 because you cancel an item on your order. Oversized items, items requiring special handling and some shipments to Hawaii or Alaska are not eligible for free next day delivery.

Why is my order not eligible for Next Day Delivery?

Not all delivery addresses are eligible for Next Day Delivery. The final estimate for Next Day Delivery eligibility is calculated in the shipping options section during checkout. The delivery estimate may change during your checkout process depending on the items added to your cart.

What happens if my Next Day Delivery order does not arrive on the estimated delivery date?

All delivery dates shown on are estimates, and it is not possible to guarantee a delivery date. Orders may be delayed due to carrier delays, natural disasters and other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Same Day Shipping

When can I expect to receive my order for Same Day Shipping?

Same Day Shipping orders will be delivered on or before the estimated time listed during the checkout process, which may change based on weather conditions, weight, product availability, shipping address and geographic limitations.

Why is the Same Day Shipping option not available in my area?

Only pre-determined markets and orders occurring within the activated zip codes qualify for the same day shipping option, this option will not be displayed for orders placed outside of these designated shipping areas.

What is the cost for Same Day Shipping?

Same day shipping costs are determined on a per order basis, depending on the weight and dimensions of the items ordered. All final shipping charges and delivery times for the same day shipping option are disclosed during the checkout process.

Why is there an option to include tips for Same Day Delivery?

Same Day Delivery delivery drivers are part of a third party organization and are not employees of America Auto Parts Llc. For this reason, it is recommended that a tip be given to the delivery driver to show appreciation for their prompt service, a tip is always optional. Tips go directly to the delivery person, not to America Auto Parts Llc or the third party delivery platform. Tips are also non-refundable in the event that you return your order.

Why is ground shipping the only method available for my home delivery order?

Due to federal shipping regulation and carrier policy, some items are restricted to ground methods for home delivery. These items will show only one shipping method option available during checkout.



Can I ship my order to a location outside the United States? ships only to locations within the 50 United States. Shipping is not offered to international addresses, including Canada and Mexico.

Can I have my order shipped to an address other than my home address?

Yes, you can enter a different shipping address during the checkout process.

Can parts be shipped to an APO or FPO address?

America Auto Parts Llc does not currently offer shipping (by USPS or any other carrier) to APO "Army Post Office" or FPO "Fleet Post Office" addresses or to any of the United States territories. We look forward to requests for this service for future consideration. Please check back with us.

Can I receive parts in a PO Box?

At this time, items purchased from cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. A physical address is required.

Delivery Times

When will I receive my order?

All delivery dates listed on the site are estimates; it is not possible to guarantee a delivery date. Generally, when an order is shipped via Standard Ground, your order will arrive within 3 to 5 days (excluding weekends and holidays). Estimated delivery dates will be available on the checkout page. The email you received to confirm your shipment contains a link to track your order.

Can I choose between Standard, Priority or Expedited shipping for each item I purchase?

No, each item you purchase with a shipping option will show you all the shipping options available for that particular item, it is possible that not all shipping options are available, this depends on the item.

Tracking a package

Can I see where my package is while it is in transit?

A link to track your package is included in the email confirming the shipment of your order. You can also log in to, select "My Account" and then "My Orders" to track a specific shipment.

Credit Card Processing

How is my credit card processed when I place an order online?

At the time you place your order, our system will validate the credit card information you provided and verify that funds are available in your account. If the information you provided during the checkout process does not match the information on file for the credit card you used, our security system will deny your order. If the information you provided is correct, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your order on the day of shipment.

What is a Card Identification Number (CID)?

In our continuing effort to provide a secure shopping experience, we require your credit card CID each time you place an order with us. We do not store this security number. The CID for Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards is a 3-digit number located on the back of the card, printed on the signature panel immediately following your account number. The CID for American Express cards is a 4-digit number located on the front of the card, printed just above your account number.

Can I use an international credit card for my purchase?

No. does not accept international credit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards issued by U.S. banks or credit card companies with U.S. billing addresses.

Order Cancellation

Can I cancel my online order?

If for any reason you need to cancel an order placed on, please contact our Online Order Support team directly at 1.754.317.9242, option 1. Items ordered for in-store pickup can be canceled at any time. Orders with home delivery may be cancelled at any time before the order is shipped.

Same Day Delivery orders cannot be cancelled once placed due to the speed of processing and delivery. When a same day delivery order is placed, you will need to wait for the order to be delivered and return it to the store for a refund or exchange. Gratuities for same day delivery orders are provided directly to the delivery person and are non-refundable, as the delivery is considered completed.

Lost orders

My order should have arrived by now, how can I be sure it wasn't lost or stolen?

Lost orders, missing parts, incorrect parts or damaged packages must be reported to America Auto Parts Llc within 48 hours after the shipping company confirms that the order was delivered.

First, check the tracking number included in your confirmation email. You can also log in to, select "My Account" and then "My Orders" to obtain this information. Once you have confirmed that the delivery was completed, check with everyone in your household to make sure someone else did not receive the package. Look behind any bushes or furniture near the delivery location and, if necessary, check with your neighbors.

If you still haven't located the package, we recommend filing a stolen property report with the police. Check with your insurance company about renter's or homeowner's coverage.


Then contact the America Auto Parts Llc Customer Care team by phone, chat or email. We will note on the order record that the delivered package is missing or possibly stolen from the location and file a Missing Package Report with the delivery company on your behalf. This does not guarantee that your order will be replaced or refunded. Please understand: America Auto Parts Llc is not responsible for replacing or refunding any order that shows that the package has been delivered according to the delivery company's tracking information. Security of deliveries is the responsibility of the customer once the order arrives at the indicated location. Neither UPS, FedEx, nor America Auto Parts Llc are responsible for replacing products that are missing or stolen from the delivery location. Only after UPS and FedEx investigate and accept the claim as a misdelivery can a refund be considered. If UPS/FedEx validates that the delivery was completed as it should have been, no refund will be issued.

Returns and Exchanges

New merchandise

Both online and in-store purchases can be returned to your local store. There is no time limit for returning a new item as long as you have your original purchase receipt, we ask that you make your return as soon as possible. Here is what you will need:

Remember, even items purchased online can be returned to any America Auto Parts Llc store. You must follow the above return instructions when shipping a new item "New Return". Please note the following:


Customers are responsible for all shipping charges*.

Returns sent "Cash on Delivery" will not be accepted.

In the event that you return an item to us that you did not purchase from us, you will have to pay the shipping charges for such item to be returned to you.

Same Day Delivery" order returns


If your order was placed with the same day delivery option, returns must be made in-store. Please note that if you added a gratuity for your delivery driver during the checkout process, that payment was provided directly to the driver and cannot be refunded.


Hull Returns


When the customer purchases new parts for repairs, they may be charged a hull charge. A hull charge is simply a deposit, which will be refunded when the damaged part is delivered. Our suppliers recycle hulls for remanufactured parts by thoroughly cleaning and inspecting the usable components, replacing any damaged or worn items such as seals, bearings, bushings, electronics, etc., so that the part will function as new and can be sold and installed once again. All remanufactured products undergo OE-type quality testing to ensure that they provide the same form, fit, function and performance as the original vehicle parts.

You may return the helmets to any America Auto Parts Llc store for a refund of the deposit. If you purchased parts online which had a per helmet charge, you may return the helmets to the store or mail them back to America Auto Parts Llc (customer will pay for shipping costs). Before returning a helmet, please make sure you have drained all fluids, if applicable, and have your original purchase receipt or shipping label and confirmation email on hand, as well as your credit or debit card, if this was your form of payment.


To mail a helmet, you must drain all fluids from the helmet, if applicable, and obtain a Return Material Authorization "RMA" at Once we receive the helmet, the helmet charge will be refunded within 3-5 business days to the form of payment used to make the original purchase. The RMA can be found by following these steps:

New Batteries

Batteries cannot be returned once installed regardless of how long they have been in use (unless they are tested at an America Auto Parts Llc store and found to be defective).

Dry stored batteries cannot be returned once opened or if acid has been added to the battery kit.

The fastest, easiest and most economical way to make a return is to return directly to your local America Auto Parts Llc store when possible.

If you are unable to make your return to an America Auto Parts Llc store, you can mail your return to If a refund is approved, the product amount will be credited to the gift/credit/debit card originally used to purchase the product (typically 1-3 business days after the product is received at the online store). We recommend that you ship with a carrier that offers tracking number, insurance and delivery confirmation (such as UPS or FedEx). If you use USPS mail, we require that you ask USPS to obtain a signature at the time of delivery.

If you send us an item for refund that we do not approve as a return, you will be required to pay for the shipping of that item so that you can receive it back.

**For returns involving warranties or defects, products shipped in error or products damaged during shipment, please email us through the Online Ordering section of the Contact Us page or you may contact us toll free at 1.754.317.9242, option 1. We ask that you specify the order number of the product you wish to return and provide a brief description of the nature of the problem with the product. An Online Support representative will assist you with the return and provide you with an RMA return code and a pre-paid return shipping label (if applicable) via email.

All returned merchandise is subject to inspection and approval before credit is issued. No store credit will be issued; only the card/account used for the purchase will be refunded, so please hold on to gift cards until the entire transaction is completed. While we always do our best to make sure we provide you with accurate and up-to-date parts information, human and/or software errors can occur from time to time. These errors can result in an incorrect part being displayed when you perform a parts search.

For these reasons and more, you should always perform, at a minimum, the following 4 steps to ensure that the part you are purchasing is the correct part for your repair project.

Make sure ALL the vehicle information you provide is correct. This includes the vehicles you define and any questions you may answer on our website. Compare the photos on the website with your old part. If photos of the product you are purchasing are available on our website and if they are not classified as "representative" photos, compare them to the old part and make sure they match.

When the part arrives compare it to the old part. If for some reason it does not appear to be the correct part, please contact us to confirm that it is the correct part before installing it.

Taking these steps will help you choose the right part to do the job correctly. Remember, as with any large, powerful and complex system, the wrong part can cause serious damage to your vehicle, serious injury and even death. Don't take chances. What is a hull charge?

Some products have a hull charge associated with them. A hull is a part of a part that can be recycled or reused by the manufacturer. This saves the manufacturer money and helps protect the environment. For this reason, a product with a hull has an extra charge for this concept. If the old part is returned in reusable condition (either to one of our stores or sent back to our online store), the charge for the helmet will be credited back to the card used to purchase the part. Note: It is the customer's responsibility to pay any shipping costs associated with shipping a helmet back to America Auto Parts Llc's online store. There are no shipping charges if you return the old part to one of our stores.


Why can't I find parts online for my older model vehicle?

The availability of information about early model vehicles in our electronic catalogs is limited at this time. America Auto Parts Llc strives to provide the most current and accurate records possible. In order for your search results to include parts compatible with your vehicle, be sure to choose your type of power sports vehicle from the "Vehicle type" drop-down menu when using the "Shop by Vehicle" function.

Due to the diversity and complexity of vehicles in existence today, we are unable to provide detailed installation instructions for your part. We have vehicle repair manuals available for purchase and online services to assist you. Additionally, sometimes our manufacturers provide limited instructions with the parts we sell. We recommend that you take advantage of these resources when working on your vehicle. If you are unsure of the correct or safest way to install a part, we recommend that you seek assistance from a licensed industry professional.
